Practical invitation guide
How to share an invitation on WhatsApp
WhatsApp is convenient for invitation delivery, but the message around the link still matters. Tell the recipient what the event is, who the invitation is from and when you need a reply.
Write a short personal message
Use the guest’s name when practical and add one sentence of context before the invitation link. For example: “We would love you to join us for Maya’s birthday. The details and RSVP are here.”
Send the right link
Check the published invitation before sending it. Use the intended guest link, avoid posting a private link in a public group and never include account or editing links.
Follow up thoughtfully
Give guests time to respond. If a deadline is close, send a brief reminder to people who have not replied instead of repeatedly messaging the full group.
Put it into practice
Choose an occasion-specific starting point, edit every word and check the final invitation as a guest would see it.
